Triumphal arches, colonnaded wings, and a fountain plaza crowded with fairgoers — this official souvenir postcard captures the Liberal Arts Building at its full Beaux-Arts grandeur during the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, one of the largest structures at America's most celebrated World's Fair.
