This is the companion leporello-format souvenir mail card to a Schoharie example from the same Rotograph series, sharing the same Patent No. 806631 of December 5, 1905, and the same charming brass paper-fastener novelty construction that unfolds into a miniature accordion of Utica views. The interior strip reveals a grand domed Savings Bank of striking Beaux-Arts architecture, a view of Bleecker Street thronged with electric streetcars and telegraph poles, and St. Vincent Industrial School — a detailed snapshot of Gilded Age civic ambition.
