A sweeping bird's-eye panorama over interwar Warsaw catches the city at its modernist apex — the bold vertical slab of what appears to be the Prudential Building (completed 1934) thrusts above a sea of ornate 19th-century tenements, church spires, and leafy courtyards, the whole scene shot with a Voigtländer lens and printed as a gelatin silver real-photo card.
