Antique & Vintage Postcards

Rich color lithograph interior view of the Großer Konzertsaal (Great Concert Hall) of the Wiesbaden Kurhaus, published by Raphael Tuck & Sons in their "Weite-Weite-Welt" (Wide Wide World) series — the vast hall seen from the rear, with rows of chairs in the stalls and balcony, massive fluted marble columns lining the walls, an elaborately coffered and painted ceiling with central chandelier, gilded reliefs, and at the far end a draped stage with a large curved arch. The card is signed at lower right by the illustrator "N. Bertaud" (or similar). The reverse carries a long French handwritten message.
