Sepia postcard depicting the Hyde Park Corner screen wall and gateway — the monumental neoclassical colonnade designed by Decimus Burton (1825) at the southeast corner of Hyde Park. The wide archway and flanking Ionic colonnaded screen fill the frame, with horse-drawn vehicles and pedestrians in Edwardian dress crossing the open space in front. The park trees are visible through the arch and colonnades beyond.
