Published by Éditions Les Ibis as card no. 143 ("Nice — La Plage, l'heure du bain"), this real black-and-white photo card was posted on 22 July 1951 by someone named Poldi, who scrawled "Eine wundervolle Reise! Herzliche Grüße" (A wonderful trip! Warm greetings) in blue ink and pressed a circular purple travel-agency stamp — "Reisebüro Preisgekrönt" — onto the correspondence side before sending it to Anton and Gertrude in Markesdorf, Austria.
