Posted September 25, 1953 from Paignton, Devon, to Mrs. B. Haddock, 4086 Illinois Street, San Diego, California, USA. Franked with a King George VI 2d red-brown stamp, machine-cancelled with the "Blood Donors Are Still Urgently Needed" slogan cancel. The message, written sideways and in the margin, describes touring England — mentioning Oxford, Blenheim, and visiting Windsor Castle that day. Crease at upper-left corner.
