Antique & Vintage Postcards

Chrome postcard of the Xochimilco canal network south of Mexico City, showing dozens of brightly painted trajineras (flat-bottomed flower boats) crowding the waterway. The boats, festooned with colorful arches of cut flowers and painted with women's names, fill the canal from bank to bank; vendors in small skiffs weave among them, and a restaurant terrace is visible at far right beneath the tall Lombardy poplars lining the bank.
