The scene radiates the composed, aspirational spirit of mid-century women's education in the American South, and photographer Jack Taylor's Kodachrome lens renders the warm red granite and lush manicured grounds in colors that feel almost too vivid to be real. This unused Dexter Press chrome card was published by Cherokee Supply Co. of Rome and survives in excellent condition, making it a fine example of Southern campus ephemera from the era.
