Postcard c1907 Memorial Bridge Milford Connecticut E.P. Judd Unused Pre-Linen

Milford, Connecticut, USA1907Pre-linenExcellent

Sunlight filters through a cathedral canopy of mature elms along a brick-paved promenade leading to the distinctive round stone gatehouse tower of Milford, Connecticut's Memorial Bridge — a beloved landmark spanning the Wepawaug River, here captured in vivid hand-applied color at the height of the Edwardian postcard craze. The conical red-tile roof of the turret, the stone balustrades, and the warm amber of the walkway make this one of the most picturesque small-town bridge views in New England postcard collecting. Published by the E.P. Judd Co. of New Haven, Connecticut — a regional publisher active from the 1900s through the 1920s — and printed in Germany, this unused card retains excellent color saturation with no fading. The back is entirely clean, never addressed or mailed, making it an ideal display or collection piece.
