RPPC Baby in Wicker Pram Laughing c1910 Real Photo Postcard Antique Stroller

Unknown, USA (possibly Midwest or Pacific Coast based on dome architecture)1910RPPCFair-Good

A genuinely joyful slice of Edwardian childhood: a chubby, dark-haired baby grins with pure delight from a grand wicker perambulator, its arched canopy and spoked iron wheels the height of nursery fashion circa 1908–1914. The real-photo postcard captures the infant mid-laugh in dappled outdoor light, a large institutional building with a dome visible through the trees behind — possibly a state capitol or courthouse grounds, lending a civic grandeur to this intimate family snapshot. The pram itself is a collector's treasure: an ornate woven wicker body with curved hood, four spoked wheels, and a small black accessory bag hanging from the push-bar. The verso carries a standard divided-back "PLACE STAMP HERE" format with no publisher imprint and no message or address — an unused keepsake print, likely one of several copies made for proud parents to share.
