Antique & Vintage Postcards

Pre-linen black-and-white postcard of the Rheinbrücke (Rhine Bridge) at Bonn, Germany, with the caption noting it was begun in 1895 and completed in 1898. The view from the west bank shows the distinctive steel arch span flanked by twin Romanesque revival stone towers, with the Rhine flowing beneath and the flat east bank beyond. A partial signature "Rob." appears lower right on the image. Published by Kunstanstalt Rudolph Schade, Bonn, No. 6.
