Victorian chromolithograph advertising trade card for the Woman's Suffrage Stove Polish, manufactured by the Phoenix Manufacturing Co., Taunton, Massachusetts. The front depicts a young girl in a pink dress with a lace collar, seated with arms crossed, rendered in a soft portrait style typical of chromolithography of the period. The reverse is a text advertisement headed "Twelve Good Reasons Why the Woman's Suffrage Stove Polish Is Preferred to All Others," listing product virtues including its composition of pure East India Plumbago and its production of a jet black gloss, closing with the line "Hence, every Woman wants it." Manufactured for the proprietor by Phoenix Mn'fg Co., Taunton, Mass., for sale by all druggists and grocers.
