Real photo postcard of the Monumento a Colleoni in Venice, Italy — the celebrated bronze equestrian statue of condottiero Bartolomeo Colleoni by Andrea del Verrocchio (1480–88, cast by Alessandro Leopardi), set atop its elaborate marble pedestal in Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo. Behind the statue rises the ornate polychrome marble facade of the Scuola Grande di San Marco, one of Venice's most magnificent Renaissance buildings.
