Blazing in candy-coloured neon against the Nevada night, the famous Reno Arch proclaims "THE BIGGEST LITTLE CITY IN THE WORLD" in this electric linen-era postcard — a masterpiece of mid-century commercial art that captures Virginia Street at its most intoxicating, with the Nevada Club, Harold's Club, Monarch Café, and a dozen other landmarks glowing in amber and gold while period automobiles (dateable to the late 1930s–early 1940s) line the kerbs. Published by Paul Koulïs of Reno (series K 1407) and designed for sale with a small souvenir bag attached ("3¢ Postage with Bag Attached"), this is a scarce bag-attached postcard variant — unused, never mailed, the bag long gone but the perforated attachment edge still visible at left. The Reno Arch itself has been rebuilt several times; this version depicts the iconic 1934 arch design. A vivid time capsule of pre-war Nevada gambling culture before Las Vegas eclipsed its older rival.
