The card carries remarkable human interest: written July 15, 1922, from Milano, Italy, by a traveler named Grace, who mailed it to Mr. & Mrs. Thos. Jaques at 814 E. 14th Ave., Winfield, Kansas, USA — a journey from northern Italy to the Kansas plains. Grace's message is tender: "…but I do want to tell you something & that is that when I hear beautiful music & very often when I see fine pictures I think of you both & a for I know you care so much for such things.
