Postcard 1910 RPPC Greek Revival Building USA AZO Real Photo Unidentified

United States (unidentified)1910RPPCFair-Good

Stately Ionic columns flank a broad flight of stone steps leading to the portico of an imposing Greek Revival building — almost certainly a courthouse, bank, or college administration hall somewhere in the American Midwest or Northeast — its dentilled cornice and shallow hip roof framed by mature oaks in full summer leaf, the whole scene rendered in the precise silver-gelatin tonal range of a real-photo postcard taken by a local or itinerant photographer sometime between 1907 and 1918, as confirmed by the AZO stamp box on the reverse with its characteristic triangles-up-triangles-down configuration. The back is completely blank — no message, no address, no postmark — suggesting this was kept as a personal souvenir or stock image, and the building itself remains unidentified without additional caption text, presenting an appealing puzzle for local-history researchers and RPPC collectors alike.
