Postcard 1940s Baden bei Wien Austria Flower Clock Trinkhalle Unused

Baden bei Wien, Lower Austria, Austria1945RPPCExcellent

The famous Blumenuhr — a living flower clock set into the manicured lawn of Baden bei Wien's Kurpark — tells the hour in blooms before an elegant Trinkhalle colonnade in this crisp mid-century real-photo postcard, evoking the refined spa culture that made this Lower Austrian resort a Viennese escape for generations. Published by P. Ledermann of Vienna and printed for economy as a "5-Grußworte Drucksachen-Porto" (5-word greeting, printed-matter rate) card, this example was never sent, retaining its clean, unwritten reverse — a collector-grade unused specimen. Baden bei Wien was Beethoven's summer retreat and a beloved Habsburg-era Kurort, its Kurpark one of the most photographed in Austria.
