Postcard 1910s High School Cobleskill NY Americhrome Uncle Ed to Harold

Cobleskill, New York, USA1916Pre-linenGood

A crisp Americhrome-era view of the handsome three-story red-brick Cobleskill High School in Schoharie County, New York, its broad Georgian Revival façade framed by tall mature elms on a well-kept lawn — the kind of civic pride architecture that small upstate New York towns built with great ambition in the early twentieth century. The card traveled from Cobleskill postmarked September 28 (year partially legible, c. 1914–1918) to Harold in Elmira, New York, signed simply from "Uncle Ed," a warm familial snippet frozen in blue ink across an otherwise spare message panel.
