Produced by the legendary Detroit Publishing Company using their proprietary Phostint color lithography process, this card captures the hotel at its peak prestige, when it served as social headquarters for Berkshire County's summer aristocracy and the cultural elite attending nearby Tanglewood concerts. The back is entirely unused and blank, with only a penciled inventory notation suggesting it remained in a dealer's stock for decades, pristine and unmailed.
