Period automobiles — open-topped touring cars and early closed sedans — are parked and moving along the curb, placing the scene firmly in the early 1920s. Published by the Utica Paper Company, Utica, N.Y., this unused card carries the pre-linen postage rate stamp box reading "Domestic 1 Cent / Foreign 2 Cents," which dates it to the pre-1925 era when the domestic postcard rate was still one cent.
