Antique & Vintage Postcards

Hand-colored photomechanical panoramic postcard of Eberswalde, Brandenburg, Germany — "Luftkurort Eberswalde. Total." (Air spa resort Eberswalde — overall view). The town is seen from an elevated viewpoint across a tree-covered slope, with the prominent domed white synagogue building with its Moorish-style twin cupolas commanding the center of the image. The town's red-roofed buildings, church towers, and a distant radio mast fill the middle ground, with wooded hills behind. This card was sent via German military field post (Feldpost) from Eberswalde on June 7, 1918, with "Synagoge" written in the message area of the reverse pointing to the synagogue in the image.
