Linen postcard of the Summit Hotel on the National Highway (US Route 40), five miles east of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, atop the Allegheny Mountains at 2,500 feet elevation. The long Mission Revival-style building with red-tiled roofs, twin towers, and full-length covered verandas extends across a manicured circular drive, with dense woodland rising behind. An American flag flies from the center tower. The reverse carries a full printed advertisement for the hotel. Published by E.C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee.
