Antique & Vintage Postcards

Sepia photomechanical postcard of Tenby South Sands, Pembrokeshire, Wales, taken from an elevated cliff-top vantage point looking across the curving sandy bay toward the town. The rocky headland and the town's Victorian seafront hotels and church spire rise above the cliffs at center and left. On the beach below, a remarkable array of Victorian bathing machines — wheeled wooden changing huts drawn to the water's edge by horses — are scattered across the sand and into the shallows, with a small rowing boat moored in the bay.
