Antique & Vintage Postcards

Whitewashed stucco and terracotta roofs cascade down Taxco's steep hillside in this chrome postcard of the Hotel Victoria, shot in Ektachrome from above to capture the full sweep of Mexico's best-preserved colonial silver town — printed by Dexter Press, one of the era's finest American chrome-postcard printers. The hotel opened in 1946 and remains open today.
