Postcard 1930s Hale Bath House Hot Springs National Park Arkansas Linen Unused

Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA1939LinenExcellent

Gleaming white stucco walls and a terracotta-tiled roof emerge from a canopy of mature elms in this richly saturated linen-era view of the Hale Bath House on Bathhouse Row, Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas — one of the celebrated federal bathhouses that drew health-seekers from across America to "the American Spa" during the 1930s and 1940s. The Curteich "C.T. Art-Colortone" linen process gives the manicured lawn an almost surreal emerald glow, and the symmetrical arched façade radiates the prosperous calm of New Deal–era federal architecture. This card was never mailed, preserving it in crisp, unused condition — a clean snapshot of Hot Springs at its therapeutic tourism peak.
