The silver gelatin print captures the pyramid's five stepped tiers with stark tonal contrast, a dirt road with a wooden fence line cutting across the left foreground, and scrubby high-desert vegetation clinging to the base. The sky is alive with billowing cumulus clouds. This RPPC carries the catalog number 297 and bears a photographer's mark in the lower right — a stylized signature consistent with the prolific Mexican postcard photographer active in this era whose cards are eagerly sought by Teotihuacan and pre-Columbian archaeology collectors alike.
