Mailed from Riverside in November 1922 with a tidy 1¢ Washington stamp, the card was sent to a couple in South Bend, Indiana — possibly the same household that received the Hayakawa card in this batch — and the handwritten message on the left margin is dense with travel impressions, mentioning attending a church at the hotel and marveling at the architecture.
