Kajetána) rise serenely above a tapestry of terracotta rooftops, with the misty cityscape of greater Prague dissolving into the horizon beyond. Painted by Jaroslav Šetelík and dated 1915 in the lower right, this art postcard belongs to the same beloved Series IV of Prague Watercolours that was eagerly collected across Central Europe in the early Czechoslovak Republic years. The back carries the charming postal instruction "Není-li sdělení, stačí 20hal. známka" — if no message is written, a mere 20-heller stamp suffices — a detail that places its publication squarely in the early 1920s. This card, numbered 49 in the series, is unused and wonderfully preserved.
