This linen-era Fred Harvey card documents the Kiva exactly as Colter designed it in 1932: forty feet in diameter, half-buried in green-stained Canyon boulders, its every detail evoking the ceremonial chambers of the ancestral Puebloans, yet opened to the panorama by great plate-glass windows that no ancient Kiva ever held. The card's reverse text captures the building's dual identity perfectly, and the bright linen palette — amber stone, turquoise sky framed in the windows, warm ochre flagging — gives the interior an almost mythic warmth.
