Edna mailed this to her friend Flo (Mrs. Harry Hegel) in North Weymouth, Massachusetts, via Par Avion, raving that "this is beautiful country, the scenery is marvellous, and the air is so clear clean and cool it makes you feel simply great," adding that the tour group of thirty-two people was "all very congenial" and that Norwegians were "very pleasant." The 90-øre Norge airmail definitive, a blue stamp featuring the reindeer and fish motif of Norway's 1962–1969 series, paid the international airmail rate.
